Computing Personal Statement Example 2

My interest in computing has developed throughout the years. This has motivated me into studying it on a more advanced level. ICT was mainly to enhance my knowledge on computing, which is crucial for this electronic age of nowadays. The course covered various aspects of the field, such as the use of Internet. The course included learning about hardware and software components. It also includes units where good teamwork is necessary

Although ITC was interesting in its own aspects, I have decided to study electronics due to alack of opportunities in ICT. Electronics will give me an in depth knowledge on the function of computers, it also contains fundamental units. These subjects involve the study of TV networks, programming language, microelectronics, and industrial society. Studying BTCE for three years has given the opportunity to develop an independent mind due to the requirement of individual research. BTEC has a large number of assignments and therefore deadlines that I have maintain and passed. What fascinates me the most about computer is modern society is dependency on it produced

With my project on building circuits, I constructed a traffic light and a shooting gallery. I enjoyed this because it enabled me to be creative and taught me a great deal of information. This included how to design the layout of the circuit, build it, test it and faultfinding. Throughout my studies of electronics, I have developed a broad understanding on how electronics is used, it function in business, and commercial world as well as domestic usage

A Degree in Computer System Engineering would provide me with an in depth study of the relationship between contemporary society and computers. Moreover, I have enjoyed the whole course, it has enabled me to explore features of field and lead me into choosing to specialise in the study of computers

I am hard working, responsible, ambitious, enthusiastic but most of all friendly, sociable and highly motivated. I am very active as I am a member of a football team. I think I will be a credit to the institution, if I am given the opportunity. I am ready to share my experience and learn from others
