Computer Science Personal Statement Example 34
I am an organised and hard working person and I have a good record of achievement from my school, college and my attendance, punctuality was excellent. I am presently studying a BTEC National Diploma IT practitioner systems support and Cisco semester tree network.
Math is also very important to my selected career, Maths is a universal language, and it is used by everything and is very involved with computers. I enjoy number work.
I am hard working and currently work at my local Harris hospice, I am on area sales support and am part of a big team, we each depend on each other to meet deadlines, its quite a demanding job as you have to deal and be trained with customer services and complaints as we work on the shop floor during open hours.
I am interested in studying Computer Science because I find it fascinating. When I was a child, I was absolutely attracted by computer games and later it was programming.
I also like studying maths and French, but I chose computing as my career because of its opening, modernity and lots of challenges. I feel the higher education in UK would help me to approach to the most recent technologies and to practice.
I am intending to study a computing related subject as I think that the future will be all about computers and they are also becoming ever more necessary in all jobs and everyday life.
Throughout school, my interest in computers has always been second to none as I took standard grade and higher and achieved good grades for both. I do enjoy working with computers and find them interesting and fascinating and hope to further this by doing a suitable course at university.
The world of computers is growing at an un-recordable rate everyday, computers are the most influential tools in our lives, they are our present and future. In my opinion nothing on the planet can measure the exponential growth and excitement in the computing industry, an industry which I want to be a part of, particularly computer engineering. As long as computers are around, software engineering will take place after all.
My goal is to be part of a team who creates worthwhile, efficient and useful computers for consumers. And the Engineering course if I work at it, which I will be the key to my success, my current computing A-Level course is a good first step for my goal.
My hobbies include judo, going out to the cinema and club or pub, shopping for myself and others, my PC, and the most expensive of all, my boyfriend.
I also like to swim, I find it quite relaxing and it is good exercise. I also love to eat out, going out for meals with friends is unrivalled by almost any social gathering including clubs and pubs, I love sitting around a table talking and joking about with friends while drinking and eating, its something I try and do at least once a month. Friends are very important to me and I try to be the best friend I can.
I am looking forward to carrying on my education and developing new skills at university, which will enable me to pursue my career in Computing.
