University of Essex Guide 2017-18: Freshers week & teaching

According to the National Student Survey 2014, 91% of students expressed overall satisfaction with their chosen course which places Essex 6th among mainstream universities in the UK.

Freshers' Week:

Your first week at the University of Essex will be jam-packed with activities and entertainment. Activities include the Freshers’ Fair, showcasing what’s on at the university, and Just Play where you may choose to try tennis, cricket, Korfball, netball and much more.

Why not take part in the International Milkshake Mixer and try milkshakes from around the world. You can even join in the TIC Total Wipeout competition or enjoy the famous UESU Bar Wallpaper Party.

You’ll find lots to do and meet new people in a friendly and relaxed environment.
