Venues like Sub Zero and Cine10 provide the latest in live music or film for your enjoyment. Each campus is close to a town centre for going on a cheap night out too.

With over 150 clubs and societies, you can always get involved at the University of Essex. 

Do you like sport but want to try something different? In addition to traditional sports, you can try out archery, cheerleading, Jiu Jitsu, lacrosse or ultimate Frisbee.

Join a society, fight for a cause or simply get involved. From departmental societies like linguistics or history, to activity-based Anime or Night Ninjas, or political such as Amnesty International or Model UN, there is always something to do.
