Pork and Vegetable Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 150 to 200g (thinly sliced) lean pork
  • 1/2 (thinly sliced) red pepper
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1/2 (thinly sliced) white onion
  • 1/4 cup (no juice) pineapple chunks
  • 4 to 6 slices of ginger
  • 2 diced red chillis (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Satay sauce
  • 3 tbsp oil

1) Mix the pork with starch and cooking wine. Massage with hands to tenderise.

2) Heat oil to high in a wok. Add in ginger, red chillies, pork, salt, and satay sauce. Stir fry until the meat is no longer pink.

3) Add the red peppers, green peas, white onions, and pineapple chunks. Stir well together, and cook for 2 to 4 minutes until everything is cooked.
