Refund Policy
We make every effort to ensure you'll be completely happy with your Personal Statement Editing and Review Service order, but if for any reason you wish to request a refund, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing review@studential.com.
As each order is tailored specifically to the personal statement provided, and requires individual attention from one of our editors, we handle refunds differently depending on whether each order has already been assigned to an editor.
Refunds before an order has been assigned to an editor
If we receive a refund request before an editor has started reviewing and editing your statement we will cancel your order and fully refund your payment.
Editors are assigned orders soon after they are submitted, and complete orders based on their own schedules and priorities. So if you wish to request a refund, we ask that you do so at the earliest possible date so we can inform your editor not to proceed with your order. Once your editor has started work on your order we will only be able to refund your payment under certain conditions.
Refunds after an order has been assigned to an editor
Once an editor has started work on your order, we will only be able to issue a refund if there is a problem. Each request will be reviewed on a case by case basis, but we will usually be happy to issue a full refund if we feel we you haven't received our normally high level of service.
Generally, we will issue a full refund if we are unable to complete your order for any reason, or your order is returned significantly later than the deadline indicated. If the service provided by your editor falls below the standard we expect, we will normally try and rectify this by completing your order again to an acceptable standard, or asking another editor to complete your order free of charge, but we may issue a refund under certain circumstances.
For more minor issues, we will attempt to rectify any problems with your order. But if these cannot be satisfactorily resolved we may issue a partial refund.
We work hard to ensure every customer is satisfied with their order, so we try to work with our customers to resolve issues before issuing refunds. If you still wish to request a refund, please follow the instructions below.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, send an email to review@studential.com containing your order number and any other information you wish to provide, or send this information through our online ordering system using the details provided in your order confirmation email.
One of our team will contact you as soon as possible to let you know the status of your order and how we will be processing your refund request.
Receiving a refund
Once your refund request has been processed, the agreed amount will be refunded through our payment processor (PayPal). Depending on how your payment was made, the amount will be refunded either directly to your credit or debit card, or to your PayPal account.
