Get UCAS acknowledgment letter
Date received: 20/08/2002
Today I got my first letter back from UCAS, the confirmation letter.
It gave me my application number and a password I could use to login at
the UCAS website (link). The main purpose of the letter was to show me
the universities and courses I had been entered for and to ask if they
were correct. I was also told I could cancel my application if I wished.

A UCAS booklet called advice for applicants was also included which told
me about the UCAS process from now on, with information about university
decisions and offers, accepting them, confirming my place and other parts
of the UCAS process such as clearing and UCAS extra.
